SHARE Spring Virtual Family Education Conference

May 19 - May 22

Register Now on Whova

Your friends at SHARE Education Services are happy to announce that another virtual family education conference will begin on May 19-22, 2021, from 2:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. CET.

The adults will experience interactive worship time, devotions, and webinars and sessions for adults and children.  On May 18, we will also be offering a virtual “get-to-know-one-another” before the conference actually begins.  And, there will be a children’s program on Saturday afternoon.  This will be a much more compact conference than a face-to-face event and our goal is not just information but new and renewed relationships with colleagues and friends.

Registration is now open! Click on the blue button above. Scholarships are being offered – contact info@shareeducation.org for more information. Registration fees for this virtual conference will include the whole family for one fee!

Non-agency family $250 (business, military, etc.)

Non-sponsoring agency family $150 (must be willing/able to name your agency)

Sponsoring agency family $100 (must have agency code to receive this scholarship)

Can’t attend? You may access the recordings of the adult sessions after the conference has concluded for $75. Register to receive the links after the conference.

Adult Program:

Each day, the conference will begin with a time of worship led by Jake and Juliane.  Following the worship time will be devotions with Dr. Ed on “Encouragement” as the theme.

Our plenary sessions will feature Dr. Melissa.  Interactive workshops will be offered by:  Valerie, Emily, Linda, Diana, Dr. Judie, Rachelle, Kathy, Lori, and Sandy.

“Meet-N-Greet” Time:

Tuesday evening, 18 May 2021, prior to the beginning of the conference, SHARE Associate, Carol Dallstream, will be hosting a time to join together and get to know one another.  With this early set of introductions, parents may find it easier to join in with the Community Groups created around specific topics of your choice and interest.

Children’s Program:

Calling SHARE children aged 6-12! Botanist Beth and Professor Pam need your help in convincing Baker Kay to preserve the rainforest. Join us for a virtual program focused on what we can do to help save the rainforest. There will be singing, thinking, problem solving and fun.

    • Activities for this 1-½ hour session on Saturday, 22 May:
    • singing along with music videos used during openings at FEC
    • large group – sharing content
    • small group – problem solving
    • links sent ahead of time with basic information and simple activities

Assessment & Evaluation:

Online options are available to help meet your family’s testing needs.  Since we cannot meet in person for the Family Education Conference to offer achievement testing, we recommend the online Iowa Assessments™ from BJUPress Homeschool for grades K-12.  (For homeschooling families only.  More information about signing up for testing will be available at the time of registration.)  After testing is complete and you have received the test results, please complete a Consultation Questionnaire and we will be happy to set up a time to go over the results with you.

If you would like specialized testing (PsychoEducational Assessment, Speech/Language, Occupational Therapy or Dyslexia) for your child, please feel free to contact us by completing the  Consultation Questionnaire.  We may be able to connect you with someone who can help.

How to register:

Registration will begin on 8 April and end on 14 May at midnight CET. We hope you will join us for a time of encouragement and connection with families you usually see at other SHARE conferences, or, if this is your first SHARE conference, to begin new relationships that will grow in-person at future conferences.
